Sourcebook The SEED Sourcebook was developed in 1993 by Drs. Alan Cromer and Christos Zahopoulos. Their work was supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation. Over the years of the program, the Sourcebook has been developed further. Many of the suggestions of the program participants have been incorporated into the Sourcebook. Sourcebook Topics: • Length, Time and Mass Videotapes The SEED videotape set is a collection of live interactive SEED television programs (50-60 minutes each) that were produced and broadcast by the Massachusetts Corporation for Educational Telecommunication (MCET). Drs. Zahopoulos and Cromer present demonstrations and experiments for teachers that they can use to introduce the basic concepts of physical science to middle school students. They were developed with money from a grant by the National Science Foundation between 1992-1996.
